Filing wording shifted from plan to statement
ConfirmedIn its Q1 FY2027 10-Q, filed August 7, 2026, Take-Two’s recurring business-overview sentence about Grand Theft Auto VI states the release as a future fact rather than as a plan. In each of the ten preceding annual and quarterly filings back to February 2024, that same sentence described the release as planned.
Rockstar Games continues to invest in the series and will release Grand Theft Auto VI on November 19, 2026, during the current fiscal year.

A statement about Take-Two’s filing language, not a prediction about launch confidence. Deliberately bounded three ways. It compares only the recurring business-overview sentence, not any other part of a filing — the February 2024 10-Q states the release flatly elsewhere, in its forward-looking section, so this is not a claim about the first flat statement anywhere. It reaches back only to February 2024, where our harvested filing set begins; we make no claim about wording in filings we have not held. And the May 2025 10-K, whose overview sentence describes the release as newly planned, counts among the ten as a planned-wording filing.
